There's absolutely not one typo in the post title, I promise. I am so excited about starting back up on the blogging front and for all of my newfound blog followers (thanks you guys!!) that I just felt like greeting you all with a friendly salutation thrice. Yes, thrice, not three.................t-h-r-i-c-e. Have I mentioned that I recently found a band that goes by the name Thrice, and steadily I am falling in love with their musical stylings every time I give an ear to them? Because. Seriously. I. Am.

Well, I am feeling a lot better today than I did yesterday, that is one sure thing I assure you. (It sounds weird to say 'one sure thing I assure you' doesn't it? ...anywho...) I spent yesterday at the doctor's office and that was absolutely no fun whatsoever. As many of you may know from my previous posts I've been battling the uglified chimeric influenza monster for well over a week now.....and I got worse so I just had to go to the doctor's which is probably my least favorite thing to do on planet earth, like, ever.

I started having really bad pounding headaches, sharp pains shooting within my ears and uber mega nosebleeds from Sunday on, so I figured that it was about time to go to the doctors and see just what was going on with me. I mean my nose never bleeds...never....but it was bleeding quite a lot for two days in a row there. In fact my nose was bleeding while I was sitting in the docs waiting room, and it would. not. stop. either. (!!)

So after all of the general funzies at the docs office I was diagnosed with an acute case of sinusitis alongside a few other URI lovelies.....all of which I was prescribed 4 different medications for to clear me all up, and I was also given a docs note to be out of work until the 10th. I was out of work all of last week with the flu, and then I was out Monday because I was still running a fever Sunday evening and well, then Tuesday I went to the docs and missed work again. Today was my down day and assuming I am feeling right as rain (although, they are calling for snow again here, not rain....lol) tomorrow I will be returning to work.

Most of today was spent sifting through blogs ::blowing my nose:: ::coughing:: ::taking my meds:: ::resting:: and starting to pre-blog a few different posts and ideas that are love-i-fied while listening to Red's new album Until We Have Faces, because, well blogger lovelies, it is almost Valentine's Day! I am so ready to spend V-Day with my man!!

Jay and I had plans to go hiking and then to go out to dinner this Saturday, but since I am still on meds (and boy oh boy do they ever make me.....zzzzzzzzz.....) we are going to stick closer to home and play the old switcheroo with our lovers day plans. I'm not completely sure of what we will do yet, but as I've been sick for 11 days now I am very ready to get out of the house and go somewhere...anywhere ::insert-desperation-plz:: is good enough for me really as long as I'm swept away with my love. I know it's a cliche okay, but honestly as long as I am with the one I love I am genuinely content.
