a wee bit of me wednesdays {1}
{one} Do you wear holey jeans? if so, do you buy them that way?Yes. Of course I bought them that way!! I love little rips and tears in my ae pairs of jeans, I just do!
{two} Do you get a full 8 hours of sleep per night?I wish. I am trying to get into the habit of making my way to bed before 12am, but I must admit that I am a night owl and have been struggling with this sleeping 8+ hours thing a lot lately.
{three} What’s your favorite way to eat an oreo?I love to dunk 'em in milk(!!), however if I do not have a glass of milk readily available I'll uaully twist the cookie part, eat the icing and then down the leftover cookie walls. ;-P
{four} Do you wear shoes in your house?On occasion I am known to leave my shoes on...especially if they are my really cute boots!
{five} Who would you call first if you won the lottery?My parents, and then Jared.
{six} Have you ever been in a food fight?I have smeared cake in someones face before, if that counts?
{seven} Do you snore?Only if I have the Flu-bug.
{eight} Do you know how fast you type?Um, no, actually I don't.
{nine} Can you do a headstand (without using a wall)?I surely CAN(not)!!
{ten} How do you like your popcorn?I love to eat Pop Secret's Homestyle popcorn. Oh, yes I do!

I thought that these 'a wee bit of me wednesdays' posts were just sooooo cute on Leigh Ashley's (Barberry & Lace's owner/jewelry designer{!!}) blog that I finally caved in and decided that I am going to start joining in with her! Please, join on in with me if you'd like to!
I love your new layout... purple is the new black, and yes I am biased because my blog is purple as well :)

ReplyDeleteThanks for asking.... Jared and I are definitely seeing God's hand in our being apart right now. I can't believe I just admitted to that, but we are growing as a couple from many miles apart. I do miss him a lot, but he and I both realized that we made each other our idols somewhat...our main focus...and not the Lord for a while there. It was nice to have this epiphany about where our focus needs to lie and it's making us stronger.
Jay and I have gotten to where we are both spending more time with the Lord in His Word and in prayer...and we've been praying together over the phone too.
Jay and I've both got a lot of growing up to do, and I'm sure more trials to walk through, but we know that it is His plan for us and we can't hate that!
I do get to go visit Jared this weekend for the day, so I am super excited about that! I haven't seen him since Valentine's Day!
