Introducing Hannah Rose Beasley Art & Design // 200+ Follower Giveaway

Hi there ORB readers! Today I am really super excited about introducing you to my blogger/designer friend, Hannah! Hannah is the very talented and sweet young woman whom I have to thank for designing my beautiful new blog design. Didn't she do a fantastic job? *I can't thank you enough, Hannah!*

I've known Hannah for the last couple of years or so, and in that time frame I've had her work on a couple of different blog designs for me (*neo victorian photography* AND *this new one* AND *one yet to be revealed*). And I must say that she is a total sweetheart and the most amazing designer! Honestly, I was realllllllly nervous in the beginning about having my blog re-designed, but after chatting with Hannah about the possibility of re-designing my blog and what I was after design-wise I was comforted and stripped of all my worries, and somehow she figured out how to translate my heart and vision and unique tastes into the very blog design that you see before you right now.

*this is the inspiration board that Hannah put together for my blog design. very me, no?*

That said, if you are in need of a new website or blog design for your personal or business use, Hannah Rose Beasley is the lady for your job!

Here are some reasons why I absolutely love and respect Hannah as a designer:

  • She is extremely prompt about sending e-mails back and forth throughout the entire blog/website design process to ensure that you are a happy camper throughout the entire process.
  • She will send you a questionnaire with a dozen or so *kinda hard* questions so that she can gauge your likes and dislikes and your own personal tastes and design aspirations.
  • Her utmost goal is to try to get to know you, as the special individual that you are, so that she can take your unique personality, wants and desires, and inject it wholly into your design project.
  • She uses Pinterest to her advantage. Check out my inspiration board. Through my board, the questionnaire and a few e-mails back and forth Hannah ultimately created ME, but in blog form.
  • Her main focus is branding. So rest assured that by the time she is done with your design it will be a brand that is completely Y-O-U!
  • She doesn't just treat her clients like clients. She makes it her mission to really listen to what you want and she genuinely gets to know each client as a friend.
  • With Hannah there is no design question or concern that is too small or too dumb. So there is absolutely no fear whatsoever over asking or voicing design concerns throughout the entire process.
  •  Her prices are beyond reasonable, and they are worth every single cent too.

Okay, enough of my rambling! Here's Hannah with a guest post for ya'll! And not only will she be guest posting on ORB today but she'll also be revealing what ORB's 200+ Follower Giveway is all about! *big grin*

*Meet my lovely fellow Carolina Designer-Girlfriend, Hannah Rose*

Hello all 200+ of Sarah’s readers! My name is Hannah Beasley, and I’m a graphic and web designer who loves coffee and design. I’ve known Sarah for a couple years and have been able to work with her on a couple blog designs and projects – she has been a great friend and so fun to get to know! So I’m happy to be donating a custom blog design to help celebrate her blog getting to over 200 followers! Woot woot! Congrats on reaching 200, Sarah. =)

So, just a little bit about me and my business. I’m a music loving/book reading/coffee drinking girl who is a little on the short side. I love color and design, and can’t get enough of all the inspiration on Pinterest! I started creating very simple free blog designs for my friends in 2010 – they weren’t much different from some of Blogger’s basic templates! But you live and you learn, right? I spent a good year learning all about HTML, CSS, and graphic design – Google and Gimp were my best friends. It took practice, trial and error, and a bunch of time, but I finally got to the point where I was making some business off my new-found skills.

It took a total of two years, but in June of this year I felt that I was ready to finish developing my brand and really focus what I was doing. That was the beginning of Hannah Rose Beasley Art & Design. What I love to do the most is to help creative people develop their brands – from their goals and personalities to their websites and Facebook pages. There’s nothing better to me than to take someone’s ideas, feelings, and thoughts; and to translate them into images and spaces. And though my focus is branding, I still love all other types of design! I love it when I get to work with a blogger on their blog – transforming that personal space into something that lets their personality shine through is something I’ll never tire of doing. So I can’t wait to help one of you do that with your blog design!

Isn't that awesome!? Thank you so much for sharing with us about your love for design, your business, and the chance for one of ORB's readers to have the chance to win a lovely custom blog design package from you, Hannah! I can't wait to see the winner's blog design in the near future! *wink*

If my blog were more "me"...I love vintage, roses, pink & yellow. Or pink, black & white. Something simple & "writerly". ;) Typewriter, antique books, etc.

  3. YAY! I'm in love with Hannah's work. She's so very good at branding, and I've heard she's amazing to work with.

If my blog were more "me"... it would probably be a jumbled mess, because I can't ever make up my mind about anything. ;) Maybe Hannah could help me with that.

    1. She is AMAZING to work with, Jessica! Haha! I thought my blog would look like a jumbled mess too, only because I'm a load of walking contradictions, but somehow Hannah pegged me down and nailed it!

  5. Great giveaway! I'm starting my first blog, and I would love to have her design it for me. If my blog looked like "me", it would show the life of a person who loves it and pursues any interest that strikes her fancy. Mother of four, grandmother of 23, great-grandma to six. Hoping to win!

  6. Great giveaway, Sarah! :)

Hmmm if my blog were more me... it would have the colors turquoise blue and lime green, and have a more country feeling to it as well.

  7. I don't know what exactly my blog would look like to be more me...it reflects me now, but not in a very professional way. :) Maybe a bit more vintagey or something? Anyway, I could definitely use a blog makeover.

    1. Yes, I do think your blog reflects you now (kinda like mine did originally), but you never know, it could look more like you than you ever dreamed (like my blog does now!) ;-)

  8. I honestly think that my blog is very "me." It's like Kristin said, my blog is definitely "me" but it doesn't look terribly professional.

  9. I'm fairly new to your blog, and I really like what I see. You're blog is beautiful :)

Hmmm... If I had a blog design that looked more like me, it would probably be very soft and natural--simple and maybe a little vintage like. I would be interested to see how Hannah would capture my country-girl/Victorian era tendencies! :)

  10. my blog is ALLLL over the place right now. i'm having a hard time balancing out my feminine/soon-to-be-new-mom side and my darker poetic sides. =/ as such, my design is rather...odd.

if my blog was more me, it would be a balance of dark and light, of girly and sacred...i see why she makes boards for inspiration! :p it makes more sense that way!

    1. Those are some kind of contrasts, dear-heart momma! { And I just so happen to love each different contrast! Your blog is every colour that you are and then, some. } I'm pretty confident that Hannah would be up for the challenge, and that she'd nail who you are down even more perfectly than it already is. Good luck!

  11. So after recovering from my embarrassment this morning about not realizing you had launched the giveaway, dear Sarah, I'm here to enter!! How wonderful a giveaway is this, too! After the amazing job Hannah did with your blog, I know I'd just love having her redo mine. So....

Hannah, 'tis a pleasure to meet you! A fellow Carolina girl a little on the short side. Love how you put that. May have to borrow that phrasing. ;)

    Hugs,
    Rachelle

  12. And, of course, I'm all out of sorts today. I didn't even answer the question!

If I had a blog design that was more "me," there'd definitely be a lot more peach and a lot more roses. Inspiring Daring is kind of plain at the moment. I love the clean white look, but would love just a little more peachy-keenness, you know? :)

    {You have my email, dearie} :D

  13. Hmm, deciding what I would want a blog template to look like would be a tough one! I have struggled with that for years. My blog is called Defective Compositions, but I adore knitting and writing thoughtful posts that would (hopefully!) draw a reader closer to the Lord. Thanks for having this awesome giveaway. ;)

  19. I've actually been trying to find a new design so I've given that question a LOT of thought. :) I want my blog to be forest-y. Dark greeng and browns, but at the same time whimsical and enchanting.

    God bless,

  21. Beeeeee-you-tiful designs! :) I love graphic design too, but I've never gotten around to learning HTML. :( I know how to make blogger backgrounds but I just switched to Wordpress and I'd love some help making it look more like me. :)

A blog that looked like me would be full of flourishes, swirls, sparkle, and beautiful colors... Aqua (mint) and peachy pink are my top faves and luckily they look good together. :) I also love curly handwriting fonts.

Thank you for hosting this giveaway! :)

  23. Ooo, I'd love to win a blog design by Hannah! Her work is beautiful!! If my blog was more me, it would be a little fancier. I have a pretty simple header, and that's about it. I don't know a ton about HTML, so it would be great to have someone who knows what they're doing in charge of my blog design. :) Can't wait to see who wins!

P.S. - I don't really want to give me email address out for the same reason as Julia, so if I win, can you just leave me a comment on my blog? :)
