I don't recall having heard that particular verse before, but that is so encouraging. Once we feel as though the world (or even God) has fully bruised and broken us down we can rest assured that He will never truly break us, but instead He will refine us and remake us, stronger and more well tempered than ever before. Thank you for sharing this verse with me!She Will Move Mountainshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16080281310264864266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4509840396766977649.post-43626794323631857012012-09-07T02:15:25.709-04:002012-09-07T02:15:25.709-04:00I always love your posts Sarah and this one is awe...I always love your posts Sarah and this one is awesome. ;) When you mentioned certain verses sticking out I instantly thought of one.

Lately Isaiah has been helping me through a rough past few months and the verse that has stuck out to me most is Isaiah 42:3:

"A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment into truth"

Perhaps it is just my interpretation, but I saw it as God promising to bruise and test us, but he will never fully break us. It was very encouraging to me at the time. I still see that verse as a reminder of His unfailing love and everlasting promises. Love all the other verses you listed. Philippians and Isaiah are my favorite books of the Bible. They are so full of promises and truths that we should take to heart. Also, I am loving the book of Philippians right now too! Thank you for sharing that verse will me, Rachel! I hope you are doing well! =)She Will Move Mountainshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16080281310264864266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4509840396766977649.post-55019991636028203002012-08-29T20:19:15.493-04:002012-08-29T20:19:15.493-04:00I definitely believe that God places reminds us of...I definitely believe that God places reminds us of certain verses! The two verses I've been thinking a lot of lately are James 4:13-14 and 1 Timothy 4:12. There are some others, but it would take a while to list them :)Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02942686989321555815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4509840396766977649.post-616758580622927202012-08-29T11:29:15.713-04:002012-08-29T11:29:15.713-04:00Great post! And I have seen this happen to me over and over and over in my own life. It's amazing, because His Word is ALIVE and it's so powerful!

I think a verse I've thought of and been reminded of a lot lately would probably be Phil. 4:13. I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me. I know this is a well known verse. But seriously, I need the reminder right now!!! :) Dove of Snowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08977548892118219462noreply@blogger.com
